What is the rising star?

Each year, we select a RISING STAR to speak at our ANNUAL SEMINAR in January, delivering a 30-minute talk on a chosen topic.

This is an incredible opportunity for junior professionals to:

  • Showcase their expertise and research.

  • Gain valuable public speaking experience.

  • Build confidence and raise their profile within the industry.

  • Be recognised as part of the future in the profession by their peers and senior professionals.

How to Apply

Applications are open from September to October. To apply, candidates must:

  1. Complete the Application Form - Available online during the application period.

  2. Submit references - A reference from a manager or senior colleague supporting their application.

  3. Provide a Talk Proposal - A word-limited submission outlining the proposed talk, supported by research and evidence.

Who Can Apply?

The Rising Star is aimed at junior costs professionals up to Senior Associate level with a passion for industry-related issues and wish to develop their public speaking skills.

We encourage firms to recognise and support talented individuals in their teams in making an application or working towards an application for future years.
