OUR PURPOSE AND GOALS

Equipping women with soft skills

We help women develop essential soft skills to navigate their careers with confidence, enabling them to reach their goals and find fulfilment in their professional and personal lives.

supporting organisations

Our seminars raise awareness of women-centric issues to employers and firms, helping them to better manage and engage their teams, creating more inclusive and supportive workplaces.

Building a supportive community

We address women-centric issues that are often overlooked in the workplace, such as menopause, maternity leave, and the challenges of balancing multiple roles.

Providing leadership support

For those looking to progress into senior leadership roles, we offer resources and guidance to overcome barriers and difficulties that often accompany this journey.

creating connections

Through networking opportunities, we bring like-minded individuals together to share experiences, insights, and encouragement.

What we offer

  • Every January, we host an inspiring seminar designed to educate, empower and connect women in costs. The event features:

    • Coaching and offering insights into workplace challenges and soft skills development.

    • A Rising Star, chosen through an open application process in the autumn, who speaks on women-centric issues and share their professional journey.

    • An interview led by WIC with a woman in senior leadership, diving into their story of success and the challenges they have overcome.

    • A sit-down brunch and an opportunity to network with like-minded professionals to close the day.

  • Connecting women with experienced professionals to provide guidance, advice and inspiration.

Open for applications throughout the summer, our mentoring scheme runs from September to June each year and concludes with celebratory end-of-year drinks in July. The programme includes:

    • A structured coaching plan from a professional to guide mentees throughout the year.

    • A dedicated session at the outset for networking and coaching to ensure participants can get the most out of the experience.

    • Thoughtful pairing of mentors and mentees, with careful attention to location, goals, and specialist areas to ensure meaningful and effective connections.

  • Facilitating meaningful connections among women in costs.
